Montessori Casa Directress - AMI/MACTE Certified
We are seeking a Montessori directress for our Casa Classroom with children from 2.5 to 6 years of age. The ideal candidate is passionate about Montessori pedagogy and possesses the qualities to work as a team with a willingness to grow with our school. Someone who possesses a profound understanding of child development and a strong knowledge of Montessori materials. Other qualities include the individual being loving, kindhearted, caring and courteous.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning and implementing activities that encourage children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development;
- Maintain open communication with co-workers and parents;
- Follow Montessori Curriculum and create lesson plans/monthly projections;
- Observe and record relevant information on each child's progress as per the school practices;
- Maintain classroom and all teaching materials in good condition at all times;
- Ensure the program compliance with CCEYA and Montessori pedagogy.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a Montessori Casa environment is an asset
- Fresh Graduates are welcome
- AMI / MACTE Montessori Certified
- Valid Standard First Aid and Level “C” CPR
- Up-to-date medical, TB test, and immunization records required
- Vulnerable Sector Check required upon hire
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- French is an asset
- Mandarin is an asset
Hours of Work: 40 - 45 hours per week
Compensation: TBD (based on experience)

Montessori Toddler Directress - AMI/MACTE Certified
We are seeking a Montessori certified teacher for our Toddler Classroom catering to the needs of children from 12 to 30 months old. We are looking for a staff who is passionate about Montessori pedagogy and possesses the qualities to work as a team with a willingness to grow with our school. The ideal candidate would possess a profound understanding of child development as per Dr. Montessori’s philosophy with a strong knowledge of Montessori materials. Other qualities include the individual being loving, kindhearted, caring, and most importantly understands the child as a sensorial learner.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning and implementing activities that encourage children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development;
- Maintain open communication with co-workers and parents;
- Plan and create lessons;

- Maintain classroom and all teaching materials in good condition;

- Toilet training and helping children get independent.
