Before you apply.

• Can I drop by at any time for a school tour?

  To protect the safety, privacy, and daily routines of the children in our care, all tours are scheduled in advance. We do not offer walk-in visits. When a space becomes available, we invite families on our waitlist to visit the school, meet our educators, and see the Montessori environment in person.
• Who should attend the school tour?

  We encourage the entire family, both parents (where applicable and possible) and the child, to attend. It gives our team a chance to informally assess your child’s readiness, and gives you a feel for how your family clicks with the program.
• Is there a waiting list?

  Yes, there is typically a waitlist for each program, depending on availability at the time you apply.
• How far in advance may I submit an application?

  As early as possible. Spots fill quickly, especially for the Toddler program, and applying early gives us the most flexibility to place your child.
• May I request a specific classroom or teacher?

  You can request a particular classroom or teacher, and we’ll do our best to accommodate. We can’t guarantee specific placements as community balance comes first.
• What factors determine my child’s placement?

  Placement depends on the openings we have at the time. We aim to balance each classroom by age and gender so that every child has a healthy peer group.
